Power Pilates Gym
Does anyone have this? I wanted a Total Gym but it takes up too much room. The power pilates gym looks very small-length wise and the seat is narrow. I am 5'6 and am losing but am still fairly wide. It does not do as much as the total gym but there is no assembly and I think it is alot easier to change positions on. (meaning you don't have to keeping taking it apart)
Does anyone have this? Do you have any experience with the total gym to compare it? Anyone over 5'5?
I have read all the reviews online and some are like advertisements- it is the company trying to promote (but trying to sound like a customer).
Thanks in advance for any imput.

I have a total gym.....I do like it for some excersizes. It's doesn't take up much space and when i'm done with it it folds down and rolls under my bed. I wouldn't recomend only using the total gym but I use it as an effective warm up tool......

Power Pilates
I think you are referring to the Pilates Power Gym. Not the Power Pilates Gym. I say this because I work for Power Pilates, and we do not offer something called the gym. We do have many studios where you can workout, or train to teach pilates, we also offer online downloadable classes.
Warm Regards,
Power Pilates

I have a Total Trainer DLX 3 and have used it over the course of 5 years. There are more resistance levels over the Total Gym and other products.
Pilates Trainers Total Trainer
The Pilates Power Gym will be limited due to inadequate resistance over time, as you get stronger IMO.

Is that the same as Malibu Pilates? If so, I have one and it doesn't take up a lot of space. The workout is a good one and it's helped me in my journey to tone up.
I also have the Total Gym and it takes up a lot of space, offers more variety in workouts.
I enjoy the pilates one more though.

It is this one.
Pilates Power Gym Official Online Site
It is small and comes assembled which is important for me. It has a hard stop which is not good but I am not trying to become a body builder. This is for tightening up with a little muscle. This is obviously not a machine for a tall person or a very large person. Again I have very limited space.
Does anyone know about this one? I have read the online reviews but I need unbiased please.

I have this one! I got it a few days ago. I'm 5'9'' and 145lbs. I have only hit the hard stop a couple of times at the very end of my stretch. The important thing is to sit in the right spot on the pad when you do the sitting exercises. If you're not in the right spot, of course you won't get a full length stretch. I have used a total gym once and I like this one better. I love being able to lay down and do the exercises just using the resistance bands. It's much more peacefull and I feel I do the exercises to a better quality and go slow. It also does take up considerably less space than a total gym. I got my pilates power gym from HSN for $350 and free shipping. It came with ALL the extras. As long as it holds up I'm very happy with my purchase. Whenever I walk past it I'll hop on and do a few exercises just because it's fun. Hope this helps. If you need more info let me know.

Pilates Power Gym-Larger People
Does anyone else over 5'5 own this?
Anyone over 150lbs and 5'6-5'8 maybe?
I am curious to hear more testimony before parting with the $$$s.
