Hehe, hmm not really. I don't tend to sweat very much in general, though. I follow after my dad in this respect. My mom always sweat more, and used to tease my dad that if he doesn't sweat he wasn't really working out. But I can do a whole muscular workout with really heavy weight, get my heart rate up big time, and still not sweat. I will sweat with heavy cardio workouts, though, like more than mild energy, I used to sweat a ton during martial arts, but especially during sparring -- all of those pads on, sweat is a huge problem to be honest so I feel what you're saying here.
When I was sparring on our old mats, which were not grooved like the newer ones, just pretty much flat material, I used to slip sometimes when I went in for a kick because you have to spar barefoot, which I hate, I always train with shoes on (because it's more comfortable, first, second because it prevents various injuries or wear, and third because it simulates real-life -- you don't get into a street fight barefoot). But sparring you of course have to do without. So you have all of these pads on and you get sweaty, you try to roundhouse kick, you sometimes slip and fall if you didn't have your balance perfect for the kick. Also with the helmet and my hair, I would get sweat in my eyes sometimes, really stings. Not embarrassing it's just annoying -- you have to call timeout (you couldn't do that in a competition sparring match but in friendly sparring practice you can, luckily). In South Korea when I was over there, it was so embarrassing, they had the slickest mats I have ever seen anywhere, I mean really a safety hazard, and I did a spinning hook kick, probably the toughest kick to execute besides a more complicated version of itself (cut spinning hook kick, for instance, which is ridiculous), and I slipped and fell during the drills, a bunch of the Korean kids were sorta chuckling, but I got up right away. It was just one of those where seriously one instant you are standing, the next instant, what seems like immediately, your head has hit the mat and you're on the ground like what the heck?! How did i end up here? Oh... haha.

Remedy for Sweaty Hands and Feet

I tried putting a towel on my mat, but that doesn't seem to work. I have always struggled with my feet sweating whenever I am bare foot, and with yoga, of course my feet are sweating. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

We carry an antiperspirant lotion, when applied to the hands and or feet, removes moisture in 30 seconds and prevents perspiration for up to 4 hours.
It doesn't transfer any stickiness to the mat or get on your clothes.
