Prevention magazine has a good article on vitamin needs for
each decade for women. It is probably on their online website
as well.

My Dr stays up on things like this and said the new research is showing
aspirin to be heart heathy for men but not for women. I plan to
read up on this some.

He says calcium is not absorbed very well from pills so take it
in the Vitachew form(the little caramel & choc chews)

No need for iron after menopause.

I'll be 50 in a couple of months.
I take a multivitamin, Vit. C and D, calcium, glucosimine and sometimes protein powder.
Even though I try to eat the right foods, it doesn't always work out so I take tablets just to make sure.
