No matter what you do, when working out your arms make sure that you train all heads of the bicep, tricep and forearms. One makes the other look that much better, even though your tricep takes up 3/4 of your arm (and that's the way it should stay, don't let your bicep out grown your tricep)

All heads? Do the biceps, triceps and forearms each have different parts? (Sorry, I'm kind of ignorant about muscles). My main concern is that I don't get that underarm flab.

Anyway, I think my arms could use some help and I'm trying to research what exercises have the biggest payoff. Also, how many reps are necessary? Does anyone have suggestions?

You want to do a few things you are currently not doing.....progressive overload, so each time increase something in the workout, even if its small. Your body will not tone as well with the same exercises and intensity each time. Also target both the Tris and Bis in the same workout and mix it up, don't keep the same routine.

Now that you mention it, I do the exact same exercises and reps/sets every time. But lifting weights is hard. And boring. They start getting really heavy after awhile. And it's not like cardio. Adrenaline doesn't kick in and help you push through the tough spots. At least that hasn't happened for me yet.

One of the simplest exercises to get busy with, is push ups. Requires no equipment, is effective and you can do them at home.obviously doing 10 will make no difference- but gradually build up until you can do 3 sets of 50 and you will motice great definition!
