Default dumbells vs. kettlebells

I have been to three stores trying to find 15 pound dumbells and none have them. I did find a pair of 15 pound kettlebells. Do you use them the same way as dumbells? Can I do the same exercises I have been doing? To mail dumbells to PR is too expensive and San Juan is too far for me to drive.

You can't rotate through your movement with kettlebells.
