LOL I used to be able to do about 5. Now I am assuming zero.
I am not a fan of pullups...but pushups, yes.

Wow, you can do 27 pullups? That's impressive. At health fairs, I've seen guys do well over 20 pullups in contests. Have you ever enter pullup contests because you would do well in my opinion? I also weight almost 145 lbs & can only do 17 strict pullups in one set.

25 rather easily. But, I do them everyday, so it's not a big deal to me.

I did this cool thing today where I hung from the pull up bar, did a pull up, and then lifted my body on top of the bar and extended my arms completely out...kind of like a gymnast move. DAMN that was hard!!!
Some of the guys at the gym looked a little amazed at me, hahaha (I'm a chick).
The most "normal" pull-ups I've done is 9 at one time.

Hey, I am impressed, pinksquid. Did you do a gymnastic move of bringing your elbows over the bar & then push up to fully extended arms? That's not an easy move. Have you ever done full swings around the bar? I can walk on my hands & do flips into a pool.

Thanks.
Yup, that's exactly what I did. When I was a kid, I did gymnastics, and I've naturally always had a pretty good muscle mass in my upper body. I used to be able to do full swings on the un-even bars...when I was 8!

Its kind of a fluid movement jerking up into a pull-up & arm extension, right? I used to get on the swings in the park & try to do an overhead swing [I don't recommend it though ]. I have a cousin who was a gymnast as Pasadena city college. I like tumbling but they don't teach gymnastics at my school.
