I'm sorry, but it was totally wrong (especially the first girl on the white team who elbowed the girl in the red first). But the girl in the red yanking that other girls ponytail....NO FREAKIN' WAY!!! She's a *****!! She should be kicked off the team..
Just my opinion and I don't need the haters to tell me what to think...Thank you & God bless...
Did you see that the girl in white grabbed her groin area? I think that is yank worthy.
She grabbed her shorts. Soccer players do those sorts of things to slow each other down all the time...not saying it is right, but the retaliation was uncalled for. Red #15 should be banned for the rest of the season IMO.
It is not "yank worthy." The BYU player grabbed her shorts, not her groin. Pushing, pulling on clothing, deliberately bumping into each other, and jabbing each other is pretty darn common in team sports.
Little Miss 15 there, repeatedly stepped over the line. If you saw more than 40 seconds of the game, you'd see that.
She said in an article that her behaviour in that game was in no way indicative of her character. She completely lost her cool under pressure. Crossing the line once is out of character. But she displayed over-reaction throughout the game, not just in one instance. That should not be rewarded.
Remember in the World Cup, where that French guy head-butted the player who was trash-talking. French guy gets booted from the game - it also likely cost France the World Cup.
Head-butting can seriously injure someone. Yanking hard on a pony-tail and whipping someone's neck like that can seriously injure someone. That kind of behaviour is crossing the line.
Anything that could seriously injure another player, instead of just pushing their buttons and irritating them, is cause enough to be suspended.
Is it a foul if you grab people's clothing in B-ball?
I thought it was...can't remember. I know you cant grab/hold football helmets. Is the shirt etc the same?
They should make it so for every sport anyway. Bumping yeh whatever..that just happens. But to grab at peoples clothing....Thats just creepy and OTT and asking for situations like this.
Headbutting can kill...I wonder if the chick on the ground got whiplash...
I know if she did that to my neck it would break! LOL
Other teams are going to try and get under your skin. It's part of the play.
When the US women won the '99 World Cup and the Olympics, I never saw anything (from the US) like what Miss 15 did.
Mia Hamm was targeted throughout her career in an attempt to make her lose her cool and get ejected. She never lost her cool on the field that I saw. I met her several years ago and she's a lot smaller than I am. I'm 5'6". These women are athletes, but they're not Amazons. There's rough play, and then very dangerous play.
Getting my hair yanked like that would probably break my neck, too. It's dangerous. Sorry, no free pass for Miss 15.
The film shows two people getting hit, and yanked, by #15.
First number 7 gets hit in the back ...( not in game play but on purpose)
Then number 21 is yanked down by the ponytail.......
#15 needed to be yanked from the game for repeated unfair play.......and should
be out for the season.....IMHO.......
