Ah yes, here we go with a another mag rag that has no clue about which they write. The Evoque is built on the Mondeo platform complete with the 241HP 2.0 4 banger engine. And that's the good news. The bad news is, if you buy one, make sure to unload it on some idiot before the factory warranty falls out. You can't buy an after market warranty on it. Why? Because the parent company Tata Motors is renown world wide as the worst auto/truck maker in the world. Most of their trucks still have wood frames and cabs, if you can believe any maker is so far behind in technology. The only savings to this unripened lemon is that there is a lot of Ford technology still in it. But give Tata a chance to cheapen it up and it'll be a fabulous wreck looking for a place to happen. Then again, who'd a thought a Yugo would become an instant collectible especially if it still runs.
