Default mom and pop babershop in Fairbanks

looking for an old-school type babershop in the Fairbanks/North Pole area for my son's first haircut. Taking him to a salon just doesn't seem right....

Thanks!

Never a better time to learn to cut his hair yourself!!! the only difference between a bad hair cut and a good one is about 2 weeks!!!

Don't know of any right off. There was one advertised on TV not to long ago but they were also a beauty shop. I use Team Cutters, Teresa is wonderful and she has kids so she is great with them as well.

Kinda on the subject... while waiting for my haircut I read a fashion mag. They were listing several places downtown Chicago where you can go and get massage while sipping on a great whisky, or full manicure and pedicure plus foot massage over a couple of hours with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champaigne... stuff like that. I want to be spoiled!
Don't deny it for your son

There is downtown... its a couple blocks away from saddlers. There is also one at the corner of University and Airport,I've only seen the barber poles not actually been there, I cut my own hair. The college actually has an oldschool type barbershop in the building where the bookstore is.

Or you could just walk into Ivory Jacks and ask if anyone cuts hair.
