Hi, everyone. I'm currently living in Oregon at the moment, and am about to apply for the electricians union over here...

However, if that falls through, I'm considering a move to Fargo. I have family there, so moving/adjusting wouldn't be a problem, and I know what to expect (frigid cold, blizzards, floods, much more conservative than here etc...).

I'd like to get into either an electrician or plumber program (union or non-union, it doesn't matter). Would it be easy to get into either of these? Also, as a bonus question, how much do trades pay out there?

We had a electrician that wired new construction homes end up in Garrison working for the electrical power company. Fargo is having a bit of slow down itself. Pay is around $15-$20 depending on your skills. Most of the electricians that I know of are not part of the labor unions.
