Not sure what you mean exactly.....but there are temporary hiring companies that employers to hook up with as a way to get temp employees. Kelly Services and there is a place on Highway 2 (Gateway Dr in GF) that is similar. Always looking for people to fill different roles/positions. Job Service of ND has a branch in GF who has a listing of more permanent jobs avbl.

Aren't jobs almost falling off of the trees in North Dakota? (Just kidding.) I'm under the impression that it isn't hard to find a poverty-wage job but that finding a solid white collar middle class job or a career job can be very difficult.

Well ya I'm just looking for a basic job (not white collar). It's been a dream of mine to move there for about two years. Got accepted to UND. Just worried about findin that job, because I have a misdemeanor conviction for possesion of marijuana, and unfortunately its not even two years old yet : (

Being a college student...there are jobs avbl to accomodate your hours. Problem is with your conviction I havent a clue how places look at that. Places like your typical Target and Walmart always hire and have flexible hours. Pluses service industry. It may be worth contacting some similar places where you live know to see how they handle your situation. Some places only look at felonies....some at the whole thing.

Walmart is hiring currently now; I know because I saw the big now hiring sign inside Walmart the application can be completed online. Since you are an student, you will probably have no problem with finding a job on campus for (Federal Work Study). I know this information because I am student as well and I have viewed the online job search protal for students https://und.studentemployment.ngwebsolutions.com/.

command labor that is the place I see on Gateway Dr. They always have employees wanted on their sign when I drive past. But I know nothing of how they operate so I am not very helpful there.

As for factory jobs....Simplot and American Crystal area in the area (Simplot in GF and Am Crystal in EGF) and there are smaller manufacturing firms. But unfortunately I dont have any idea on their hiring practices. Both places have websites. Being larger companies, I wouldnt be sure about hiring quickly though. If you dont already....check the jobs HQ on the Herald website.

good luck sorry couldnt help you more
