So Iíve been in Fargo for a few days and I have yet to figure out what all this cold stuff is about. I shoveled snow in a t-shirt and shorts today. I also took the trash out barefoot in the snow. So might think Iím BS-ing, but Iím not. If anything I have acclimated pretty quick for a California transplant.

I did get some strange looks at the super market wearing shorts and a t-shirt at 4AM. I don't think I'll be buying any jackets or winter clothes

To be fair though this is one of the warmest winters in a while... but yes the cold is something most adjust too quicker than you realize.

You do know that we are going to give you a bad time when it's -40, right?

This winter has been the strangest winter I've seen in my 50+ years of shoveling snow. I live at the base of the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming and this year, if I want to take my grandkids snowboarding, I have to drive 40 miles to find enough snow. hahaha I've never seen it like this.

Cold weather makes me feel alive. It’s a bit too toasty today. I can't wait for all hell to break loose snow, thunder, wind and rain bring it on.

It's nice to catch a break on the heat bill and lack of flooding expected this spring.
