My family (including 2 kids ages 5 and 7), will be in Fargo for the 4th of July. . . Any recs on what to do, where to watch fireworks, etc?

MSU-Moorhead has fireworks and other activities so will Bonanzaville(in West Fargo).

It's mostly pretty quiet in Fargo, except for the fireworks displays. Everyone heads to the lakes country of Minnesota. Detroit Lakes will be a virtual zoo. Otherwise, people spend the days grilling and relaxing with their families. The fireworks displays are your best best. Otherwise I'd buy the Fargo paper that morning and look for activities listed that might be of special interest to you.
