Can someone give me the employment climate for someone who has solid Finance credentials (graduate degree - University of Michigan), has taken an early retirement from a Fortune 500 company, and now has a small business consulting firm. The business climate in Michigan is very poor, and I would be open to the Fargo area (either with my company or working for another firm). Weather is absolutely not an issue. Where might I go for information? I hear that Fargo is a great place.

Microsoft has a campus here, there is a big Bank of the West office here, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Dakota's HQ is here. hope some of that helps.
