I am hoping to move back home closer to where I am from in North Dakota. I am looking in the Fargo area. I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge on Prairie St John Hospital. i am an RN and seeking employment. I also would like to know how the schools are. I have 2 teenagers who will be moving with me. How is the diviersity there for an interracial couple?

I don't have much direct knowledge of Prairie St. John's, other than that it specializes in mental health/addiction treatment and offers both inpatient and out-patient services. I do know a couple of people who have made use of their services and were helped. If you're looking at more general nursing options, there's Meritcare, Innovis, and the VA Hospital. There are also a number of nursing homes in the metro area, with new assisted living/nursing homes opening.
Overall schools are quite good. There have been some postings previously on that topic (many of the the opinions being mine). Given the number of people brought into the area by the North Dakota State University and Microsoft, it isn't near as completely white as it was when we relocated here over 15 years ago. However, I wouldn't say it's completely enlightened regarding race, either.
