We are moving to Fargo next week and plan to get a cell phone (our first) before we go. T-Mobile has the best plan for our needs.

Does anyone use T-Mobile in Fargo/Moorhead? How's the coverage? If a person wanted to use their T-Mobile cell phone in an apartment in Fargo, would the reception be okay--or would it cut in and out? Are dropped calls a problem?

How about Verizon? They cost a lot more, but we're not saving much if we buy a cheaper plan and no-one can hear us!

How about other carriers?

You might want to try and go to:

Cell Phone Carriers - Cell Phone Service and Tower Search

The interactive map has all the cell tower locations and who they belong to.
Good Luck!

My wife has verizon and is quite happy with it. We get great reception in our house or when we were in an apartment.

corrects, thats fargo, also when we go to Bismarck to visit her side of the family (I hate that term, they are mine now too) my father in law lives about 10 minutes east of bismarck on a "ranch" of sorts and we get great reception out there now, before we didn't. Verizon appears to be active in getting those towers up.
