Hi there~

I'm a all natural gal and have been until last year. I do have sisters and they are helpful, but I would like other opinions as well. I would like some tips on how to apply make up and I started off with mascara. I just love mascara because it's simple. It does enhance my eyes. I know that some people prefer mascara and that's it, but I need to learn how to apply make on myself with no help. You know...On special occasion and things like that. For the past years, I've been asking my sisters to do my make up which I am thankful for, but I think it's time that I need to know something. I know it takes practice so don't worry.

I'm only going to focus on my eyes. I do NOT want a lot of eye shadows make up. Just a little that you can tell I have something on. They're between average and small. My pupils are brown. What colors can enhance them to shine? I like certain bright colors (light gray, silver, peach, anything along those line). I'm okay with dark smokey eyes (I think they're sexy at times ) but not too dark though. If dark make up needs to be apply to my eyes, then I'm okay. I do run a BIG problem when it comes to my eyes though. How do you apply make up on hidden double eyelids? I am having such a hard time finding help. I've googled and I didn't get much results. Sometimes I just hate them because they're difficult. I prefer to have double or mono eyelids to make things easier. My sisters are also having hard time applying make up to my eyes because of the hidden double eyelids.

Any tips will be great. Thanks.

P.S. I forgot to ask about the brushes.. I have NO idea what's the difference between a big and small brushes for eye shadow. What kind of brush would you use to blend colors together? Does it matter on your eye shape? I'll ask my sisters and friends as well.

Youtube has a lot of tutorials for how to apply makeup. Sometimes it's for a certain look (copying Lady Gaga's looks is a popular theme), sometimes it's just simple smokey eyes.

How old are you? That can affect what type of make-up you should use, and how it should be applied! A 20 year old can do things a 50 year old simply can't get away with!

I am 20. I like make up that add a little touch or makes me look a bit more mature. I don't like make up that makes me look like I got beat up.

I recommend Youtube as well. They have tutorials for natural looks, smokey eyes, celeb inspired looks, etc. So just get on Youtube and play around and you'll find what looks work for you. Good luck!
