Hey we agree There's one thing I don't get though. Whenever I ask her to dye my whole head she says it doesn't need to be done and that she will just touch up the roots and then do the highlights. Is she just being lazy? I think it makes your hair look healthier when you dye your whole head.

That I don't know, as I haven't gone gray (yet??). But having had other chemical services done to my hair, in general overlapping treatments causes additional damages to the hair. So maybe that's why she just touches up the root. If your hair looks good and feels healthy, I would let her keep doing it her way.
