I was wondering, have you been buying any Spring clothes from your favorite fashion brand yet?
IZOD has released a few of their Spring 2018 products early last month. I bought an Advantage Polo in Fairy Tale, as well as a Premium Essentials plaid button down, also in Fairy Tale.
The first day of winter isn't even here yet (12/21)
I know IZOD and some other fashion companies have started to release their Spring collections, although they don't typically start promoting them until February. IZOD typically releases their first Fall products (which also encompasses Winter) in June, with ads usually beginning in September. IZOD also has a third "Holiday" collection, which are Christmas-styled products, typically released about a month before Spring collection.
I know some higher-end women's fashion lines divide their calendar into four seasons - in addition to Spring and Fall, the other two seasons are not Summer and Winter as you would expect, but Pre-Fall and Resort/Cruise. Pre-Fall are essentially warm weather clothes in fall colors. Resort/Cruise speaks for itself - they are clothes meant to go on a holiday vacation to a warm weather resort or to go on a cruise.
First, I have to get through the holidays. Then, I have to end of season sales.
Then I’ll become interested in Spring clothes.
Note that even though IZOD has started selling some of their Spring 2018 products last month, they are still promoting their Holiday 2017 collections as well as some of their Fall 2017 products. Usually advertising for the Spring products doesn't start until February.

I understand, and as stated, even though IZOD has released some of their Spring products, they are not yet advertising them, which probably won't start until February. This will give retailers time in January for their Fall and Holiday clearances.
Note that I live in Arizona, and because it doesn't get as cold here, I have less of a use for Fall and Holiday products.

Note that time is running out to buy your Fall fashion, since in January is when the major retailers typically start putting Fall products on clearance to make way for Spring. This doesn't only apply to IZOD, but to all major fashion brands.
