I tend to wear heels that are 2 to 3 inches (own only 2 pairs). I recently bought them b/c I wanted to feel more feminine and never had high heels before. They hurt tremendously when I first wore them, but feel a bit better after buying gel pads. I never intended to wear them every day, maybe just a few times a month for a few hours.

I do not use "high" heels at all. It is terrible really, kids, look to your ancles, it is so sad what you do for your ancles. It is horrible to look anckles which grow to wrong position and swing recless to the left and right and are so slack that they hardly are stuck to rest of the leg anymore. Please let your ancles grow storg and straight. You are going to need them later.

"ancles" are overrated.

Out of all the risks I face in life, high heels are the least of my worries. If you don't wish to wear them, then fine, but I'm not giving mine up just yet.

I need a reason to wear heels, and it's usually for shock value since I'm so tall. I do have a few pairs of 4"+ (highest being 5-1/2" with platform) but only wear them a few times a year at most.

I wear flats at work because I'm in a shop situation, and the bars I hit up after work are hardly worth wearing a pair of nice shoes

Just bought a pair of these...

Can't wait till they get here!

What is that line in the song? Oh yeah, "I have friends on low places"

Pretty much! My favorite dive is a cash only that's attached to a sketchy liquor store. My coworkers (most of which are quite wealthy) are at that bar nearly every weekend

I like big platforms with comfortable toe box. I hate spiky heels that have a pointy toe. That is like... so much pain... migraine... I could hear my bones break.
