I know this sounds silly, but I can't find a nice robe anywhere. I've tried just about everywhere, from big box discount, like Walmart, Target, to more upscale places like Macys, etc. I want a nice housecoat, not some thick, heavy terry cloth thing I sweat to death in, something that zips up, not some wrap thing constantly coming apart.
I'd be willing to pay upwards of $30--$40 for something decent, any suggestions?
One from Land's End: Women's Dream Fleece Zip-front Robe from Lands' End (http://www.landsend.com/pp/DreamFleeceZipfrontRobe%7E200352_59.html?bcc=y&act ion=order_more&sku_0=::TVY&CM_MERCH=IDX_00002__000 0000210&origin=index - broken link)
If you found something you like from LLBean or Lands End, why not try to find that item on Ebay and get a cheaper buy? Just a thought. I research everything first, then shop on Ebay. Often you can find brand new w/ tags still on for a lot less and usually free shipping.

Anthropologie usually has cute light to mid-weight robes. All of the ones I've seen are wraps but some of them have a tie on the inside so the robe doesn't pull apart while you're wearing it.
