I ABSOLUTELY hate them.....and now these days, who can really tell if you are wearing them....or not????
I avoid them like the plague, and just make sure that my legs are clean shaven, and maybe a bit tanned. (spider veins, scars etc. are a bit more camouflaged that way......huh )
None of them are comfortable, and I always end up getting "shocks"......grrrrrr

And, for the so called "dress code" and requirement....how would the bosses really check if you wear them......or not???? LOL.....I would LOVE to see that.....lol.

Pantyhose should be worn in professional situations, job interviews, etc. It just makes you look more polished.

If I am wearing a skirt to a wake/funeral, I will also wear pantyhose, bare legs are inappropriate in that situation.

Not TAN pantyhose (ugh) but sheers close to skin tone. My grandma wears tan pantyhose/knee hi's with EVERYTHING, including track suits, open toes shoes, sneakers!

I'm probably in the minority, but I don't mind pantyhose. I never really thought of them as "fashionable" per se, but more of a necessity...kind of like a g-string or pushup bra.

I will not wear them with open toe shoes though!

I'll wear them to special events - weddings, baptisms, communions, wakes/funerals - other than that, no. For no other reason except that I am not very comfortable in them.

Tights is a different story - I am comfortable in those - really love them.

Question What about with pumps?

So what about with pumps? I have seen women wearing them without hose? What do you think? When I wear pumps, I generally wear hose ... even though I usually don't in other cases.

I never liked pantyhose in the first place. For me, its the thigh-highs, sometimes with the garter, depending on where Im going or what Im doing. Other times, simply the thigh-highs are good enough.
Hot Topics have some of the cutest styles too, a wide variety....

I hate pantyhose. Tights are in thought. Nice pair of black tights with ballerina shoes is fashionable.

I don't wear dresses or skirts very often,so usually pantyhose are not an issue. I wear them in cooler weather, but I can't stand them in hot weather!

Ive worn tights from time to time with the plaid skirt or under a pr of cutoff shorts. A friend of mine introduced me to that idea back in WI.
