CASTELLAMMARE DI STABIA, Italy, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Officials in an Italian city said they are introducing new rules to ban miniskirts, exposed cleavage and saggy jeans.

Mayor Luigi Bobbio of Castellammare di Stabia said the town council plans to pass 41 new rules that "every good citizen must respect," The Daily Telegraph reported Friday.

What a prevert! I'm OK banning the sags, but leave minis and cleavage alone!

So, are you offering to fly across the pond to take on the position of "enforcement officer"?

I wondered this too since he is a known lecher but it appears the mayor who is banning these things is from the same right-wing party as Berlusconi.

This town is also banning sand castles, mowing your lawn on the weekend, playing soccer on the street, and walking your dog with a long leash.

The ban on miniskirts only applies to miniskirts that did not fully cover their underwear. I wonder if going commando is going to be a way to beat the law?

I hadn't thought of that, but it is a great idea. But I need to be back by Maple Sugarin' Season.

Meh, I found the political implications more interesting. Not that I disapprove of miniskirts but this is just a forum, I have seen enough miniskirts in life, will see more in the future, so this discussion is nothing to get excited about.

If it was a sharp dressed lady crossing my path or my wife out for the night in one then excitement will come whether for a breathless glance or a night of fun, but a discussion on a law.....nothing to get excited about.

I know the comment was all in good fun but in a way it does degrade men to make us all out to be some comedic or annoying stereotype. Imagine a woman interested in sports, auto mechanics, or some other item most perceive as masculine and having to deal with guys making digs about her sexuality, or lack of it, you know it just is not cool and sometimes you just want to tell people who want to put you in some box to shut up because they do not really know you as a person.

I saw one male poster, judging by the name, to get sort of excited and flirt online with another poster over this....don't judge us all by that example. Some of us are here to discuss our interests only and it does not matter if it is with females or other guys, we just want to discuss what interests us. We don't come here for the benefit of the women, to entertain them, to believe this forum is just for them, etc...this forum is for everyone.

With out men, women would have very little need of fashion, and very little fashions would be available.

Besides my wife when any attractive women I have met a few times is dolled up I flirt with her. Women like it. Atleast they seem to. I sure have ticked off some husbands in my time and my time ain't up ..........yet. pretty much to flirt around the husbands must be present.

I said it before in another thread women are like poetry in motion.
