I find my generation's (21) shaving ridiculous. I think eventually, men will grow lazy and cease torso shaving. Trimming and maintaining order? That will be here to stay, I imagine.

Torso shaving? Seriously? Maybe if you're a swimmer, I'd understand. But turning into something habitual like facial shaving is ridiculous.

You're just not looking hard enough. Most people just want it maintained down there, not completely shaved off.

I've gotton mixed reactions from people about it. Some people react like it's great that I did it, they've said things like "Why don't more guys do that?" or "That looks so much better and cleaner."

Others have looked at me with an expression of confusion, "Why did you do that?", "I would never do that to myself." etc. It seems that women like it, and men react to it like it's wierd or unnatural. Some people even seem to think that only gay men shave thier bodies, however I am not gay.

Personally, I think it's much cleaner and better looking. It seems like women are more attracted to it too. I've also realized that when it's hot outside, having all that extra body hair just feels warm, sticky and nasty. I might just keep on shaving it.

So what is you alls opinion on this? It seems like there's a certain stigma in our society that "real men" don't do it. Thanks
Always Learning: The Feminization Of Our Culture

It is natural for a man to look more like a man! Rugged...hard....not soft and feminine! Our newer generation of boys and young men are being brainwashed into thinking just the opposite. Men reacted like that because it's true! You don't have estrogen in your system! You grow body hair!! More than women do!

See those two guys I posted?? You'd be hard pressed to finda guy with chest hair or a mustache today!! Pop culture has devalued the father and the male image in general.

These are the images they are pushing at our boys....

You mean to tell me that none of these guys are growing body hair? They are shaving like women, do!!

Even in music.....why so many falesettos and high tenors out there??

Where's the next manly voice....the baritones or basses.
