I worry more about hygiene than hairyness...a daily shower works wonders on any amount of bodyhair..

Where did I say I thought such a thing?
Not defensive, just pointing out the outrageous generalizations, which of course are false.

I've always assumed it had more to do with girls' teen magazines, in which they make sure all the teenage heartthrobs are shaved because a real man would be too threatening to the young readers.

I have read that also. If I remember correctly "Tiger beat", yes, I am showing my age, never ever had a hairy man, ever.

But does make me wonder, did any of these teen girls have a hairy father, souldnt be that much of a shock, after all men are different than women.

I actually prefer my men groomed, not really clean shaven, but trimmed and clean cut. I've been with guys who have had these three inch pubes growing like wheat, yuck!

Well, speaking as a gay man, I think body hair looks good on some people. I like chest hair and a nice nature trail, but I don't like hair all over the shoulders and back, which is kinda gross. Also, hair that lays down looks better than frizzy hair (like Tom Selleck).

For an example (and your viewing pleasure), this guy looks pretty good, and it doesnt take away from his muscles.

A few comments that don't make any sense:

Its not manly to shave - implying men are somehow less of a man with less hair - False a man is a man irrespective of the amount of hair he has upon his body.

Only gay man shave - for as long as there has been hair there will have been shaving or hair removal of some description. Hair removal has no connection to sexuality whatsoever.

Its very much a personal choice if you don't want to shave don't but don't assume with your narrow mindedness that those who do are somehow wierd or different.

After all leg shaving in women only grew to popularity in during the world war when tights became hard to come by and the woman began shaving their legs and drawing a seam up the back of the leg to give the appearance of wearing nylon stockings.
