What in the world would you all do without the feminist movement to blame for everything? In the 70s, we were all being ragged on for NOT shaving, whether we did nor not. Now we get the rap for forcing men to shave... Yeah, we couldn't wait to grow our armpit hairs 10 inches long and then make our men shave all of theirs off. It was a big conspiracy and took several decades, but, by gosh, we've finally succeeded. That 59 cents thing was a great smokescreen for the movement to use.

BTW- We changed that "girls" thing along the way, too. Just like Black males now get to be called "men", so now do grownup females of all colors get to be called "women".

Okay, whew, rant over, fist unclenched and at my side- errr- on the keyboard.

I happen to LOVE naturally hairy men. I never minded men with little hair and find receeding hairlines quite sexy, but it would freak me out to see my lover shaved. I could never be with a guy who was higher maintainence than I am!

Why now?

Is it all part of the feminist movement to tell men to shave their body hair? **** that, lol

Cool Well, Ok

I am a 46 yr old male, and I don't care what people have to say about my hairy body or loss of head hair. I have been called a grizzly bear, a yeti and I've been told that, one should not wear a sweater when taking a shower or bath. So, to hair or not to hair, that is the question. I say, do what ever makes you feel good.
Now from time to time I do ask my less hairy half (thank God) to give my back a little trim. Although, she could do a topiary on it, but too just trim it back for the summer. Wearing a sweater under a t-shirt just doesn't cut-it in the summer heat. But in the winter it does come in handy. And as for the lower region, its always a good idea to cut-back on the hedges to let the air flow . Besides the only reason we have hair there, is because back in the early days of man, the hair held certain animal type smells that our ancestors with their keen sense of smell would find mates. I have one, so I don't need much.
And please keep in mind, a good playground always has grass on it. LOL

In my opinion fellas don't shave anything below the neck. I don't think I would be attracted to some guy with legs as silky smooth as my own. I won't even go to the hairless other places that I am sure would be a turn off for me. Guys I think hair is sexy..."each to his own" though

What a delightful thread.

I'm with a bunch of you in that I like quite a few styles of maintenance. But long hair down there is spooky. Makes me think think the man who doesn't at least trim may not wash. And how could you get things really clean?

I have a friend who took up shaving (like ms. debary says) his chest hair as an experiment. Personally, I like chest hair, but as they say... I wouldn't kick him out... for shaving.

I think Viva la difference! I like hair and don't mind a lot of it. I do think that Fleet's post is over the top, knockin' on eww with a bit of Oh my!. My brother was a red head and so hairy that when he wore a swim suit, with the sun behind him, he had an orange glowing halo outlining his entire body!

My brother in law is SO hairy that from a bit of a distance it looks like he has fabulously tanned legs...then when you see up close, you see that its just the hair.
