When I was people watching at the airport recently, I noticed that the overwhelming majority of women, even older women were wearing pants. Do pants feel more comfortable than skirts? Why don't more women wear skirts? Is it a matter of staying warm?
Well, it's getting colder in the US as fall turns to winter.. wouldn't you be uncomfortable if you were wearing a skirt all the time? I am a dude and I wear pants all the time and airplanes are always COLD.

Its more practical and comfortable to wear pants while traveling....especially considering that we have to jump through hoops for the TSA, schlepping bags all over the place, may have to run to catch a flight, maybe have to hang around in a cold airport waiting for connecting flights and God only knows what will happen while traveling abroad.
Nothing more, nothing less to be read into it. Its not a statement making act...its not a feminist declaration. Its pants.

I'll assume that you're male because a woman knows the answer.
Try wearing a skirt on a cold,windy day and you will too.
Because going to the airport without pants would be frowned on?

I'm flying out of Orlando tomorrow, the full body scanners went on line today.....I was actually wondering if I should bother with clothes.

I know what you mean. Wearing a skirt looks so liberating, especially in the warm weather.
