I am not a Pelosi supporter in anyway, but that photo is just unfair.

You know, you're right and now I feel (sort of) ashamed
I hadn't a clue who she was so googled her and that's what came up.
Besides, it looks like the problem is not so much make-up as it is baaad plastic surgery.

How many conversations have we had here about how that all goes hand in hand.

Ok, let's set her personality/persona aside. As a younger woman she was fairly attractive, and from certain angles she's not bad looking today. But that's all smoke and mirrors...wipe off the war paint and you probably wouldn't recognize her.

That lipstick is just wrong, plastic surgery or not.

I for one can admit people are attractive objectively even if I don't like them otherwise.

I wear makeup because I have discoloration marks on my face including 3 scars that look like pimples, resulted from a failed enzyme peel, dark circles under my eyes, a scar on my mouth and over one eye, and no eyebrows.

In other words, if I went to the supermarket without makeup, peoples' children would probably be stressed after looking at me.

I wear makeup to make myself appear presentable. I don't give two flying cahoots if strangers think I'm pretty. I'm married. My husband knows what I look like au natural and he loves me anyway.

Make-up is exactly what it is, "Making ***** up"

It can give the illusion that a woman is attractive when she's really not.

I for one have been deceived on several occasions. May be I'm just stupid.

For the record, this is all from a superfacial stand point.
