I don't frequent bars. It obviously depends on the venue. Guy in a suit probably wouldn't be too welcome in a biker bar.

Like I said...depends on the venue. There are places that would more or less EXPECT suits, and place where jeans and T-shirts are the norm. You go in dressed the wrong way, and you may be asked to leave. If not directly, then you will be made to feel uncomfortable until you do on your own.

The kind of bars that I WOULD go into don't really appeal to guys in suits, they appeal to people who actually work for a living.

When I was single and frequented bars, I was always on the lookout for another hot woman to hook up with. This always led to me sizing up the competition, and a guy wearing a suit might reflect negatively on how I was dressing if I wasn't dressed well. So my thoughts would be whether the guy in the suit made me appear less desirable to whichever woman I was scoping at the time.

It was also a way for me to gauge which women preferred guys in suits as some women might react to such a guy.

To me, it's a turn-on!

Because where I live, most men come in those places with nasty, dirty jeans and dirty shirts on (EWW!) and they smell. Most men here don't take showers regularly of course (some of the women too, I might add).

But I love when I see a man come in nice and clean. And has a suit on. I think it's so classy and means he HAS a job. Seen more of them in Phoenix than here, that's for sure.
