Not many women can wear short shorts, you have to have the legs for them, as for high heels with shorts makes them look like street walkers.

I guess I will by-pass the shorts thing altogether and go for the clam diggers... My legs, although thin, are riddled in the upper thigh area with strecth marks from my last child and so I will not be sporting the short shorts fashion! But, don't like to be out of fashion either.

Exactly, look for comfort, this is all rubbish and who cares what other poeple are wearing at the beach or wherever,just enjoy life.forget about the fashion police.

God, get a life. Is this the type of issue that occupies space in your head? If a man wants to wear a dress or short shorts, more power to him. Now go read a newspaper and occupy yourself with more pressing issues.
