Need help buying boots for my girlfriend (product, girls, mens)

I bought her this (gray one): Logo Print Chunky Slouchy Cozy Hoody Mini Sweater Dress Gray - eBay (item 390263887944 end time Dec-19-10 01:51:49 PST) (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390263887944&var=66001 1401330&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT - broken link) but I need a pair of boots to go with it. Something under $50 with shipping.

I found these: Amazon.com: Madden Girl Women's Partial Boot: Shoes but they are a bit over $50 and I'm not sure if it will match the sweater dress.

I'm not an expert in this sort of look, but I would go for a plain, sleek boot. Payless has a few styles like this in your price range.

I probably would go something similiar to the girl in the picture of the sweater dress. Try DSW boots section. They have tons.

In theory, I'd go with black suede boots (no heel or a little wedge) that are knee height or over the knee. These are $50 with free shipping, although I wish they were taller.

However, tall boots don't look good on every woman. They flatter slim, leggy women like the model in the ebay ad. If your girlfriend is built like that, OK.

Good call on Forever 21. I looked at your link and see tons of inexpensive boots, including tall suede like I suggested. I've never shopped there so I'm not familiar with their stuff. (Perhaps what girls who wear Wet Seal "graduate" into?) I imagine their clothes and shoes are not particularly well made, but we're talking about a $20 dress so that's all right.
