That's another surprise for me. Back in the old days Georgian women were never considered as particularly good looking....( neither did Armenian girls by the way..)

Their own *upper class* was probably keeping a close eye on those good-looking women, because they were few and far between. So they were not allowed to get out of Tbilissi ( Georgian capital you know))) - their parents were always on-guard)))
Oh well, doesn't matter really - Georgians are still my favorite folks in Caucasus.

I've been to Odessa, Ukraine. Yes, the young ladies are beautiful. However, many won't be so attractive when they get older. Saw some of their moms, horrible. Countries I've visited that had beautiful women include Greece, Spain, Italy, and Israel.

No, I am talking about mid-eighties? I think - that's when I have visited Caucasus on several occasions, Georgia including. See, they were one of the Soviet republics and ditto - like anyone else they were not allowed to leave Soviet Union, however they could freely move within the Soviet Union.
So plenty of Georgian men were coming to Moscow for example, but I don't remember seeing too many Georgian women ( if any) leaving Caucasus and moving, say, to Moscow. Their families always kept close eye on them, or at least it was my impression. Girls from prominent families were kept in Tbilissi and I think that marriages were arranged between families that knew each other for a while. I don't remember too many Russian men marrying Georgian women either, whereas Georgian men taking Russian women in marriage was nothing unheard of. (Stalin himself was married to a Russian woman - at least his second wife was Russian - I remember that much.)
So in a way Georgia used to be a "closed society" in those times - quite typical for "Southern culture."
May be by now it has changed - I am not sure.

In case of Ukraine ( where I think women are definitely beautiful, even because of such variety of them; historically it was the land where a lot of different nationalities/ethnic groups left their trace - Scandinavians, Iranians - you name it. So in case of Ukranian women - it's the harsh life and often the lack of the necessities that make them to age fast comparably to their Western counterparts.
In case of Georgians and Armenians however, it's the nature itself that makes them to age fast. For the most part women in their early thirties already look like they are in their forties. ( Darker skin, dark hair and the rest.) Same can be said about Italian women I suppose.

There is nothing wrong with her looks - it's just that she is not as gifted as the rest of the team.
They need to know how to act and she really doesn't.
