Unless you know someone really well, you have no idea what kind of underwear they're wearing. I really don't care. The guy in the suit and tie or jeans and a T-shirt might be wearing panties. It certainly doesn't effect my day, existence.
I usually don't wear underwear when possible. I'd say around half the time I'm going commando. I like the freedom. Panties and whitey tighties seem terribly restrictive.
Ummmm... I have no issue with men wearing panties (whatever floats your boat!), but for a non-cross-dressing straight man, I would say those are a bit too feminine. And I'm not sure how to say this tactfully, but where does your "stuff" go in those?
I say its probably comfort that made some 'straight' men wore panties instead of briefs or boxers. Some panty brands really are comfortable to wear especially if the material was not irritable to the skin and that it fits their stuff well and dandy. lols!
Yes, I'm a guy who is straight and also married. I love those VF briefs, they're on of my favorites, especially the mint green Lace Noveaus. The first time I wore them in front of my wife, she gave me a little "love pat" on my back side and said: "Your ass looks so much better in those panties than it ever did in that junk you used to wear", meaning of course boxers or tighty whities. Do I need any more of a reason? Well actually I have another reason too.
I guess that’s just part of my nature. As a kid, I always took delight in standing up to the school yard bully. If I was not being bullied myself, then I would stand up to the bully on behalf of other bullied children. Now as an adult I’m doing basically the same thing, because I regard certain social dictums as the evil bully that is kicking good people around and otherwise making them miserable. My wearing of those panties has become my act of defiance, my giving social conventions "the finger" in a manner of speaking.

Lady, I guarantee you that I know whay MY man's wearing--and it isn't women's panties.
I repeat: Real men don't wear panties.
