I got three different catalogs yesterday from Victoria's Secret , and on the cover of one of them is a woman in some downright fugly boots.

Behold the hooves

Olive green suede platform peep-toe wedge boots that manage to make your feet look like you stuffed them into paper sacks. Oh, and they're $300.

FUG.

I would agree...but have to say, if you dress like the model and sit on the stool like that, no one is going to notice your fugly boots!

ETA - keep meaning to tell you Phantom Tollbooth - one of my favorite books! I'm pretty sure I still have the paperback I bought in 6th grade....

Would it be bad if I said I actually kind of like them For some reason they are kinda cute. The right person would have to wear them with the right outfit and they could be cute.

As for those shoes that schmidty has............... now THOSE are FUGLY! Funny but FUGLY!

I have seen some really ugly strange shoes lately. At first I liked the "boot sandal" but with a wedge? Thank gosh I am at an age to just wear Granny shoes all the time!

I don't understand the point of peep-toe boots. They're made for cold weather, why would I want my poor toes out there peeking out in the cold??
