Had my eyebrows threaded today. I think they look nice, even though my brother said he hadn't noticed anything different.

But, the area that she threaded/where hair used to be is lighter than the skin on my browbone. It looks like I put on dark shadow and forgot to put it all the way up to the eyebrows, or like I was punched. Or a bad chemical burn. How can I make the skin color even? Do I have to just wait it out? I tried using foundation and powder, but it didn't do anything.

To anyone else who has tried eyebrow threading, is this normal?

Is it light because it was formerly underneath hair? My scalp is horribly white, and underneath my eyebrows probably is too. Maybe you just need a little color there from the sun, which will take a day or two.

Yes, that's exactly it. The skin used to have hair over it, and it now contrasts with the skin over the eye area. Thanks for the sun tip. I will use a lower level spf moisturizer tomorrow around the eyes.
