Do any of you have any recommendations for deodorant or antiperspirant deodorant?

I absolutely loved the deodorant- Crystal Clean by Lady Speed Stick- that stuff was Amazing!!!!! Left me smelling good all day long and no white residue whatsoever. Sadly it was discontinued back in 2005- I think it was. How could they do such a thing!

I have tried so many deodorants and antiperspirant deodorants since then and I don't like any of them. They all get white residue on my clothes most of them don't seem to work all day long very well either and I'm not one who sweats alot.

Do any of you have any good recommendations on one you are happy with and one that doesn't leave behind white residue on your clothes?

Thanks bunches.

The crystal body deodorant stones are pretty awesome, IMO. You moisten the stone (it's an actual rock) and wipe it on your armpits. It dries just like water dries, leaves no residue at all, has no smell of its own, and does not impede your ability to perspire or clog your sweat glands. All it does is neutralize the odor.

You can find them in any natural food store, at most GNCs I think as well, vitamine shoppes, and some supermarkets carry it as well. They come in push-ups (like ice pops) and as a natural-appearing crystal that looks like a big hunk of quartz.

It's made out of potassium alum, which is -not- the same as aluminum, is non toxic, and will keep the stank off almost all day even if you're a very active person.

Do you want a deodorant or an antiperspirant? As far as I know, all antiperspirants contain aluminum chlorohydrate and stop (or greatly reduce) sweating. Deodorants do nothing to reduce sweating; they are designed to mask the odor.

Some people dont want to use any product containing aluminum chlorohydrate because of the suggested (but never proven) relationship between aluminum and Alzheimer's.

I dont have any suggestions for deodorants. Regarding antiperspirants, however, my all-time favorite is DOVE ULTIMATE stick. It leaves no gummy, white residue, can be used immediately after shaving without irritating the skin and can even protect you for an extra day, if necessary.

I didn't like Degree at all and I do buy Mitchum unscented. We both can use it that way and i get a three pack at BJ's for 6.00 and change.
I used to love Dry Idea but the price got to be outrageous plus when you shook it (the roll on) if flew all over the place.
