Already, my usual makeup starts melting and getting all shiny about halfway thorough the day.
Can anyone recommend a brand that does not do this? I tend to have some trouble with sensitivity to my contacts, but I'll try any thing that is matte and good in southrn climates.

Really there is no such thing....when it is horribly humid, I wear sunscreen and blush and even that slides off....that is why air conditioning is so wonderful.

Do you mean you just use tinted moisturizer, or do you use powder or liquid makeup?

Just the moisturizer. It has more of a tint to it than I expected...I bought it thinking it would go on under liquid makeup, but it evens out my skin enough alone.

Use a translucent powder, over your foundation...and re-apply as needed, when you start to 'shine'! It really does "set" your make-up.

Of course, if you've got sweat rolling down your face, there's nothing...not even "tinted" moisturizer, that will stay on! Simply cool off, and re-apply your make-up!

Try a primer under whatever you use. Its like night and day if you have a big issue with face melt. Try a few different ones because some work better than others depending on your makeup combo and skin type.

Believe me - I live in the South - nothing will stay on your face if you are outside in the heat and humidity of summer.
