I use the deodorant crystal. It works well for me. Baking soda is another option.

The deodorant crystal is probably the best bet, not just because it's natural (some things that are natural, are bad for you. Like, salmonella, for example ). But also because it's colorless, doesn't stain, *allows* you to sweat but just neutralizes the odor, without masking it or creating a new one. So you can also use it with any cologne or perfume or essential oils you like on your pulse points, and no one will wonder why you have such a funky combination of smells coming from you.

Some people use those heavily-perfumed deodorants, then spray cologne on them...cucumber/melon and Givenchy - not a good mix, ladies.

What are some good oils for men?

I have tried toms, and I stunk after 2 hours.

For men, I can't think of any better combination than bergamot with a tiny bit of sandalwood and an even tinier amount of vetiver (aka vetivert).

All diluted in grain alcohol, and sprayed or dotted gently on the pulse points.

But vinegar smells like vinegar! I think I'd rather smell like sweat.

TRY IT first...its actually a disinfectant so you would still have to find a organic deodorant but ACV is absolutely brilliant ! it also works really well as a facial cleanser.

My husband likes Burts Bees spray deodorant, I use it as well. It has a nice herbal smell...but not all stores carry it. It's the one in the aluminum spray can.

I also swipe under my arms with alchohol (on a cotton ball) before using it or the deodorant crystal...seems to help. When he ran out of the Burt's Bees recently (and no local stores carried it) we used the ingredients on the side of the bottle to create our own, which is basically alcohol and different essential oils.
