Wow!
So many assumptions and generalisations , mostly from women.
In my case I'm 5'10, around 1701bs and a size 8-10, 34-33-36 ,so not skinny and not fat, and carry most weight on my legs as I used to horse ride and have my Fathers legs at a 34" inside leg.
For years I was a 38c but went up to a crazy size when pregnant 16 yrs ago, and gained a LOT of weight.
Since then I've gone down in weight past my pre-pregnancy weight.
Although I'm now a 34 DD or E (if you can find those size bras in anything remotely flattering without needing a second mortgagage) you would never guess it, I guess because my hips are bigger and I'm tall.
Problem with boobs isn't the size, it's the fact that pregnancy, breast feeding and gaining/losing weight has resulted in these 2 thangs that look like droopy spaniels ears.
Bras don't fit properly- I have no boob/cleavage at the top-it's all around the side and underneath. I hate that I always have to wear a bra and as for strapless bras-YUK - they just won't stay up!
If someone offered me a "proper" D or DD cup I would take it gladly
Yeah, and it's easier than finding my size, a 38DDD... and really I'm more like a 36, but that would render me completely un-bra-worthy according to most designers. Lane Bryant Cacique is one of the few that carries 36-38DDDs, and unfortunately they aren't super cheap - but well worth the money, IMO.
Speaking of which, did you know Lane Bryant makes your size too? They start at a 36, and go through cup sizes B-H... some people think you have to be plus-sized to wear their stuff, but that's not true with the lingerie. I don't fit in their clothing anymore (after losing 60lbs many years ago), but still get 99% of my bras there!
Ya made me look at their site again!
Unfortunately they still only go up to DDD in 36 band. The higher cups start with 38.
I just found out that I'm a 32D the other day. It's the same as a 34C but still. I was spilling out on the sides in a C.
no it's not. If it were the same, you wouldn't fit in one, and spill out of the other. Where do you find 32D bras? I have trouble finding a band that is small enough, and a cup that is big enough.

Ohh ok. Usually they'd be at Victorias Secret or forever 21.

Do you mean the band is the same, but cup is bigger? I don't really get how it works. I have been wearing a 36B which was measured for me by a pro, but the cups are a little too small, you can see some permanent bends in the top part of the cups, but whenever I try a C, the cup is too big and doesn't lay smooth. I need a B 1/2! I hate bras, I sometimes wish I was smaller so I didn't have to wear one, but overall my size is great, no complaints from my guy, no sagging, plenty of cleavage, but I would like a bra that fits better.

Yep. The cups bigger the band is smaller.
