Has anyone let spider veins go and then developed into larger varicose veins?

I have a patch on my leg and was thinking of getting it treated but its a cosmetic issue so I am on the fence about the cost. The area is so tiny and not in a place where anyone would see. But if it would prevent it from becoming a larger painful issue with varicose veins it probably should be taken care of sooner than later.

I don't think that spider veins develop into varicose veins. I could be wrong, but
if they do, it's a very unusual thing. Varicose veins are the large veins. The spider veins occur with the tiny, close to the surface veins. not the larger ones like around your ankle and behind your knee.

Save your money. This one might be the only one you get for the rest of your life. But if it would ease your mind, ask your doctor the next time you see him.
