I made the dress and everything on it, except the real antique trade beads. I made the same for me too. circa 1805
It was interesting making the dress since I learned stuff. The cloak part can be removed, and wide straps are buttoned to the dress making it a strap dress. The why is breast feeding ability. I would imagine that modesty while breast feeding is very easy in a dress like that too. Thats with or with out the cloak part on.
Her earrings and dress broochs are all my work in sterling as well. So is the nose ring
I only think its too much if its constant nip slips. Its a bathing suit so to me the whole point is to expose your skin unless you are playing sports. Its less eye catching when everyone else is running around in suits too.
Fashion and beauty, I love the whole concept, dancing under the stars, candlelit dinners. But there ain't nothing like coming home to my hubby, putting on flannels, his socks, my nubby knees and bumpy fats with big girl panties, and he still gets a thrill at the glance, and I still get to schlep around in the immense comfort called home, and I know he loves me for ME, and he knows I love him for him, cuz I don't pay no attention to how many times he changes his socks becuz the other day I asked him how were his poor sore red feet doing, and he said he hadn't checked since last time he changed his socks, which was the day I noticed them, probably a month ago? I surely do not know and do not care. Cuz when it comes to bunny love, we all likes to snuggle, us big-uns, little-uns, fur in browns and greys, no shoes, just fine is our lives together. But I like the idea of fashion and beauty, dancing under the stars, candlelit dinners, which we do just fine here in our standard uniform of the day: PJs and socks. And we ALWAYS match, and we're always dressed perfectly for the occasion. Smiles to everyone, this thread has been a lot of hoot and hooey.
