I dont know where you live..but have you tried 2nd handstores in your neighborhood or city.
I always dress nice and wear name brand clothes. I usually go to 2nd handstores..people always compliment my clothes.

Yup. I just ordered some of their new polos style shirts the other day.

IIRC tall sizes were 24.50, regular sized were 19.50 plus free shipping.

Vineyard Vines should also be on the list. You can find some of their polos in the main store/online that start around $50, and they also have a few factory outlet stores.

Believe it or not Macy's is a great place for clothes as their sales are terrific (50%-60% off or better) and their decent quality Club Room Polo Shirts are always $19.99 and American Rag Jeans are less than $30 at regular price. CK and Tommy Hilfiger are slightly more, $35 regular price.

Go to Macy's and see Calvin Klein's "Liquid Cotton" polos -- for $29.00. It's as supple as silk and looks great.

Land's End sells generic, preppy looking clothes that are inexpensive and of good quality, but boring. Sometimes they can be cut funny, too.

if i'm going to buy expensive casual pants, they will be Bonobos.

OP, dunno if you found anything yet but I just ordered a bunch of shirts from Express.
If you're smart about the sales you can nab stuff for pretty nice prices- got 3 really nice button-up shirts for around 85 bucks. They're having some sort of summer sale right now and it might be a good time to do it... polos for 20 and stuff, and 20% off at checkout.
