Thin is certainly more fashionable.

Gimme a big girl any day. If she's pretty and has a great personality, I do not care how large she is. I just went into a drug store and was waited on by one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Only after I realized this did I notice that she was really heavy. But it did not matter; her smile was that dazzling. I could not stop staring at her.

She's more muscular than most guys. Too big for me.
I don't like Kate very much, but she looks damn good in that picture. She looks damn good in most pictures, actually.........

In the states the focus is on fat: Biggest Loser, etc.

How important is it, in your opinion, to be thin?

I don't think thin in itself is beautiful. I don't understand that obsession, never will. Sure there are thin women who wear the look well, but personally the women I've ever aspired to be like had a little meat on their bones.

When I was a kid, you could see every one of my ribs.

Is that thin enough?

I'm still pretty thin, but I'm not bony like I used to be.

There are three body types and the only one I ever seen that was thin was that taller, sort of skinny rectangular one. A pear or apple shape rarely looks thin. Most people that are thin and not obsessed about it are naturally thin and those obsessed about being thin, generally have problems with their image that losing weight will never cure.
