I shop at Torrid every once in a while, online. I'm tall and busty so I buy button up shirts and take in the waist. Clothes that are sold at 'normal' retailers are for short, small busted girls and I've never been either of those
Victoria's Secret has never made any bras that fit me and their underwear is ridiculously overpriced. I'm all about Frederick's of Hollywood
I have to agree 110%!!! Torrid has some cute button ups that can finally fit us busty gals, with a minor alteration.
As for Vickie's; BAH, never again, after the sales chicks said they do not and would not carry my size.
Stores I don't like, Cashe, A&F, Hollister, and Buckle. There is NO WAY I am paying over $100 for a pair of Lucky jeans; when I can buy them at Sam's club for $30.
Sams Club and Costo carry different lines of Lucky jeans than their designer lines. It's just a matter of what you want.
True. I hunted high and low for a particular cut (221) at discount and outlet stores. I ended up at Lord & Taylor paying $80. They're nice jeans, but it's problematic when a brand is found at so many different price points.

Agreed. I think about six months ago Vera Wang announced that she's coming out with a line of wedding dresses that will be sold at Davids Bridal. It's not the same dresses as you'd find at the boutique... Cheaper material, mass produced with no stitching by hand etc.
If they were the same dresses no one would buy them anywhere besides the discounted stores!
Although discount places like Filenes Basement is a little different, where they take the returned or overstocked unsold clothes after the season/s are over and sell them at a discount.
But you have to wade through hundreds if clothes amassed since the early 90's and unflattering cheaply made clothes to find something nice at a good price.
I sometime buy online, what i most hate is the replica store who claim they got the most quality thing, but turn out to be fake, I hate this store much!!
I can't believe Vera Bradley hasn't come up, like not even once... Can anyone legitimately explain the widespread/long time appeal of a granny-style fabric handbag with a short lifespan which starts around $45 and heads up to $100?
I have a cheap one and it's okay but I don't really get the appeal of it either. Some colors are cute and can look hip, but I agree that most of the time it looks like Grandma fabric.
I was gifted a Vera Bradley bag...by my SO's grandmother.
It makes a decent tote for my crochet stuff. Wouldn't have paid money for it, though.
