i think alot of people wear costume jewelry.. mostly people only wear expensive jewelry when it comes to weddings/anniversaries/things that have meaning (like a family ring)

I love cubic zirconia jewelry. I like having something pretty that I don't have to be really careful with. I used to buy gold jewelry with cubic zirconia stones, but lately I've switched to stainless steel. Even the ring I wear as my wedding ring is steel and cubic zirconia.

To clarify, I don't wear ANY jewelry that "tries to be something it's not." For instance, surely no one would mistake one of my gorgeous antique brooches, filled with rhinestones, as anything other than nice costume jewelry.

In other words, my wedding set and my diamond studs are real diamonds. That huge glittery brooch from the 1940s? No.

I'm female and a jewelry hound of all kinds. Most are costume and a few are "real" jewelry.
