Does anyone know why David Yurman watches are no longer being carried in department stores? They used to carry them - I think the 'high end' retailers. These stores still carry some of his jewelry.
I don't know for sure, but probably not enough turnover to justify carrying something that expensive in inventory. They're watching the bottom line as well. I'm sure any dept. store that carries Yurman would be happy to order for you.

Thanks. I thought there might be some problem with them. Marcus seems to market to a fuller spectrum of shopper. l wonder how those watches match up with Rolex and Cartier.
I would go for a Cartier watch in stainless if given a choice out of the three. Classic and classier.
Thanks.
Other than price, which is an issue, I am put off of gold for everyday because it scratches and requires regular polishing. I liked the styling of the Yurman with a small bit of gold, the rest silver, and diamonds because the diamonds seemed to be set in the gold logistically, to protect the gold.
It does not look overdone and it seems a practical design.
But, yes, I was thinking as you, that Cartier in silver makes sense.
