Hollister(Abercrombie/Fitch) and American Eagle Outfitters? Any others out there with quality, ruggedness, and design like these two cargo shorts? I've seen the ones at BananaRepublic, JCPenny, Macys, and Express. I don't like them at all. Thanks.

Outdoorsy type stores will sell quality ones (I don't consider AE to be quality). Try REI or Eastern Mountain Sports.

Hey man: I live in cargo shorts! Here in Austin it's warm enough so I can wear 'em from around April through October. But I'm not committed to any one brand; I find that you can even get some good ones at places like Target (Tar-ZHAY! LOL) for under $20 sometimes.
My wife thinks I dress like one of The Beach Boys, though. And is forever on my case about not dressing my age.

I don't know if there is still a thing as "dressing your age". Everything is so casual and la-dee-da these days. I'm from Texas, but we're on the West Coast now. People wear cargo shorts everywhere. In Winter it's cargo shorts or jeans or cargo pants with hoodie sweaters, and instead of the river sandals or Birkenstocks it's hiking boots or runnig shoes lie New Balance or Brooks. (Nike's are popular, but I think Nike's are ugly, personally, especially the new styles.)

Thanks everyone. I decided to buy the ones at Target. They were of good quality and style. I didn't like the other ones.

Target, thats sounds like a good idea, I've been looking for some for ages, I hate shopping so I normally shop online! But I might give target ago.
