I always smell those Victorias Secret Angels perfumes everywhere I go, so they must be very popular. I think they smell horrible and cheap on all women.

Any scents that seem to seem popular that you don't like?

I don't know enough about scents to know which one is which, but someone in the building I clean wears something that smells like RAID. It's VILE.

To my way of thinking if the scent lingers for an hour after you've left, you've done something wrong.... but of course -- the person wearing won't know that, because they usually don't come back and/or have killed their own sense of smell by using crappy perfume.

In the 80s I had to find new friends because everyone I knew wore Giorgio, and it made me sneeze violently!

Theirry Mugler Angel and Stella McCartney Stella. Both smell like a combination of funeral parlor and poorly selected flowers to me.

Poison, any of the Calvin Klein fragrances (like Eternity--yuck!) and *gasp* Chanel #5.

Talking Scents to LIKE or DISLIKE?

As a male hate to walk past a woman (who smells) (pardon the pun) like she took a bath in a cheap cologne.

Do have a favorite that I once bought in Mexico City (Imported from France) for a lady friend....very exquisite but cannot remember the French name.

Anyway my current favorite for any woman is a mild "Ciara" that is subtle and not overwhelming.

Steve

LOL, I know what you mean. There's a certain type of scent, one of them is Aspen, for men, that smells to me exactly like Off! mosquito repellant. And it's so STRONG-smelling.

I think Poison is one of the most identifiable scents ever. I used to love it, but every time I smell it now, it just seems so '80s, LOL.
