can I wear long sleeve top underneath these?
I am feeling fashion-challenged at the moment-
Need opinions on whether a long sleeve top could be worn underneath either of these items - (otherwise they are not something I could wear in winter).
Cape Sweater
Poncho
thanks!

The first one is fugly to me. The second one would look fine over a long-sleeved top. I frequently wear layers like that.

I think these types of tops look better with long sleeves under them. Naked arms under a thick knit sweater always just look weird to me, plus it's really impractical, my arms would freeze off.

Yes, I think long sleeves would look good with either one.

Tight sleeves, tho, like a tee, not a blouse, IMO

Definitely would work with fitted knit sleeves underneath (like a basic fitted layering tee made to wear under stuff). I'm not a fan of short-sleeved sweaters except in spring and fall...if it's cool enough for knit, it's likely to be cool enough for sleeves. So I'd always extend the life of a wardrobe piece by layering sleeves underneath it in cold weather. Just make sure the sleeves are fitted and streamlined enough.

Thanks, everyone!
I thought these would work with a fitted long sleeved top underneath, but wanted to confirm - sometimes I have strange taste in clothing.
I have black and dark gray turtlenecks and crew necks with long sleeve which I think would work with either sweater.

Sure! But the 1st one could make you look like a silver MnM-I like the second quite a bit.
