If I had seen the bag and handled it in person (therefore knowing what I was getting), I would buy it from a major store's website if I could get it for less. If I was familiar with the brand enough to know what to expect, I would consider buying one secondhand from a seller on eBay with excellent reputation and feedback.
You cannot buy a "luxury bag" online for a discount unless it is a fake. Luxury brands do not discount. It dilutes the brand.
What about sales and clearance markdowns?
